Mr. Neil Glickman, author of several standard works on the topics of deafness and mental health, will travel from the USA as keynote speaker and give four lectures. In addition, Prof. Christian Rathmann, Prof. Agnes Villwock, Prof. Franziska Geib and the physicians Dr. Ulrike Gotthardt and Dr. Johannes Fellinger will speak.
As sponsor for the invitation of the US-American speaker Neil Glickman to Germany we could win the Kämpgen Foundation in NRW.
The conference language is German and English – all lectures will be held in DGS or German, Neil Glickman's lectures in English with a translation into DGS. Interpretation services will be provided throughout the conference.
Participation fees are staggered according to the date of transfer. Optional dinner on Thursday evening at a restaurant (additional flat fee). Accreditation for continuing education points with the Berlin Chamber of Psychotherapists will be sought. The number of participants in lecture hall 1.101 is limited to 130.
In strict compliance with the G2 requirements of the HU Berlin, we have decided to hold the conference in attendance in order to do justice to the large subject matter. Of course, current circumstances will be taken into account. We exclude a hybrid event.
In case of cancellation by the organizers, already paid participation fees will be refunded. In case of cancellation by the participants, the fees will be refunded, minus a handling fee of 10 €. After 15.8.2022 a cancellation is no longer possible.
